Ned Rorem in Florida - 13 June, 1982

My performance was the premiere of "After Long Silence", and the orchestra was the Camerata Bariloche from Argentina. We didn't know until the last moment if they'd make it, the Falkland crisis being at it's peak, but they did, and they were overwhelmingly dear.
