Had Elliston and Villamil to dine with us (Kenny was to have been of the dinner), in order to go to Madame Fodor’s benefit in the evening. Tickets twenty francs each: Bessy went: opera, the “Elizabeth of Rossini;” some fine things, but heavy as a whole.
