'Would you do me the kindness of securing 2 dress-circle seats for Rom & Julliet [sic] tomorrow (Friday) night. The 2 end seats on the *left* side of any row. If no dress circle obtainable in that position then pray get two *stalls*. Jessie [Conrad's wife] can not sit out a performance but in th seat on the left of any row.'
