This was a concert promoted by the S.C.R. and consisted of three works by Soviet composers which if they have been previously performed in this country are well outside the normal range of concert going... I do think that more attempts should be made in England to explore the practically known fields of Soviet music. Not but what there is plenty of music being written in other countries which is also undeservedly neglected.
