That evening there was another concert in honour of Jackie and Danny. Danny played and conducted the Mozart Piano Concerto in D and Jackie played the Schumann. At the dinner afterwards, Sir John Barbirolli made a speech in his deep, gruff voice, extolling Jackie for ages.
