At Cric[cie]th. Adjourned to house - Played Penshair, Serch Hudol, Codiad y Hedydd, Llwyn Onn, while he sang Penillion - He is getting on well but complains that he has not been adjudicd. yet by anyone who knows anything of the art. To the kitchen - sang a lot of W[elsh] F[olk] Songs. The old lady knew sev[era]l - betrayed herself her left fist keeping time - but when challenged to sing got quite shy -
