Benjamin Britten et al. in Grotrian Hall, London - 2 October, 1933

from Journeying boy : the diaries of the young Benjamin Britten 1928-1938, page 150:

Go to a concert by Schusster (of Berlin Phil), 'cello. at 8.30 at Grotrian hall. V. dull programme - inadequately played. Good technique, with wobbly intonation & an almost complete lack of rhythm. I go with Grace, tickets from Miss Bond via Barbara
