Mrs. Bridge et al. in Broadcasting House - 23 February, 1934

from Journeying boy : the diaries of the young Benjamin Britten 1928-1938, page 201:

Bath & dinner at 7.30, then Mr. & Mrs. B. take me up to Broadcasting house for contemporary concert. My 'Boy was Born' goes infinitely better than rehearsals, some of it really going well. It goes down pretty well.* Cyril Scott plays 2nd pft sonata; 4 Choral songs of Rubbra (1st 2 very similar) * A Motet of Woodgate (conductor) for a rousing (not much more!) finish.
