J. Pearce et al. in Teatro Comunale, Florence - 2 April, 1934

from Journeying boy : the diaries of the young Benjamin Britten 1928-1938, page 205:

Correct some quartet parts in aft. before going to concert of Italian music in connection with the Festival at Teatro Communale at 5.0, with J. and Phyllis P. Very dull programme - 2 Sicillian songs of Muré, & beginning of Intro. Aria & Toccata of Casella being the only things of interest.* The rest of an interminable programme was merely by Italian Parrys & Stanfords.
