Mary Delany in Lincoln's-Inn, London - April, 1734

from Autobiography and Correspondence of Mary Granville, Mrs Delany: with interesting Reminiscences of King George the Third and Queen Charlotte, page 463:

Thursday at Lincoln's-Inn opera again. Yesterday morning at the rehearsal of a most delightful opera at Mr. Handel's called Sosarme, which is acted to-night, and I doubt as I am to go out of town next week, I shall not be able to resist the temptation of it.
