from Music, men and manners in France and Italy, 1770 / Charles Burney, page 117:
...[T]o Mr. Hempson's where Nardini and Linley met me to breakfast. The former played an old solo of Tartini delightfully - gave me a MS harpsichord lesson of his own, and a solo of Tartini. The little man played a great many of Nardini's things and old Mr Hempson shewed me his books and curiosities.
