Mons[ieu]r Vogel, Dr Berkeley & Mr O’Byrne dined drank tea & supped with us, Dr B. was drunk. He s[ai]d he was in the Legion de Chartres, he has received 16 Wounds, the strongest & most active man almost I ever saw; he performed several Treats & Tricks vastly well informed & has read a great deal.
