The fireworks were magnificent, a gem of beauty and beyond anything I had ever seen. we had a delightful return trip. There was music, singing and moonlight. The bay reflected the lights of the city, the electric lights above Brooklyn Bridge; the lofty lights on the statue of liberty, and the whole horizon, a mass of innumerable stars, was a scene to be remembered.
