Lowell Mason in Chapel of All Saints, Munich - mid May, 1852

from Musical letters from Abroad, page 130:

Mr. Aiblinger is an able musician, and a fine composer; and his vocal music seems to be a very happy medium between the old and the new. “A little too modern,” said one of the best musicians in Munich to me, as we left the chapel.
