Igor Stravinksy et al. in Paris - October, 21st Century
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: October 1920, page 539:
I met Stravinsky in Paris and he played me his new Quartet, very interesting but as usual with too much scratching in it. I played him Chout, which he liked very much. I appealed to him to point out places where the orchestration could be improved, but he confined himself to correcting a few slurs in the woodwind to make them stand out in greater relief.
