Georg Henschel in Berlin - the 1870's

from Musings & memories of a musician, page 41:

Clara Schumann, for whom Brahms until the end of his life cherished a touching, almost filial, love and devotion. She was indeed one of the gentlest, most lovable of women. It was a delight to listen to her as, in her charming melodious voice, from which a certain fascinating Saxon accent was hardly ever absent, she would revive memories of the past.
