Minnie Frisby in Dodford Baptist Chapel, Bromsgrove - between late 19th Century and early 20th Century

from Memories: Minnie Frisby, pages II:20:

Mr Dolphin […] had a very good Tenor voice, and many of the Hymns that he used to choose [for service at Dodford Baptist Chapel]  do I remember very well today, a great favourite was ;-

Jesus Saviour Pilot me,

Over Lifes Tempestious [sic] sea.

Unknown waves before me roll

Hiding rock and treacherous shoal,

Chart and compass be to me,

Jesus Saviour Pilot me”.
