I could mention lots of things about Aunt Marm […] [S]he joined the Salvation Army and in time became their Secretary. I remember one Easter Sunday morning she got up very early, walked two miles into Bexhill and joined in with the S.A. band which marched round the streets at six A.M. with the big drum banging singing Christians Awake salute the happy morn.
