To-day at least I must not say I am without subjects when all around me the peals of bells, the firing of guns, the distant rolling of birthday carriages, ought to inspire anybody with a sort of almost poetical verve[.]

Lady Sarah Spencer married William Henry Lyttelton on 3 March 1813, after which she was known as Lady Lyttelton. He succeeded his half-brother as 3rd Baron Lyttelton in 1828.
