I have taken a fancy to Pacchierotti the Italian singer; I never felt any kindness for one of those beings before: but this is elegant, humble & gentle, & has Surprizing Adroitness at Languages.—he made a progress in ours truly astonishing—as to his Singing I understand it not, but the best Judges say ’tis exquisite, and Basta così.
