[Our boatman] added, that harping, and dancing, were decreasing in Wales, by the interdiction of the Methodists, who overrun the country. The harper of the town attended (by command) our return, and was very rapid, and enlivening; and tho his harp was not so good as that of yesterday [at Dolgellau], we thought he had much more execution: his company was very agreeable, till eleven o’clock; when we separated to our several apartments.
