Jane Mullings: My husband and I happened to be coming up Rupert-Street on that Sunday. We saw a man [Charles Cullam] playing and dancing, and singing to a child [Rose Cullam], I saw it fall out at the window.
Q. Was you looking up at the instant it fell from his arms?
J. Mullings. No, but I saw the child coming down, and the blanket in the man's arms.
Acquitted. Accidental death.
