Ben Turner's brother et al. in Holmfirth, Yorkshire - between the 1860's and the 1870's

from About Myself, 1863–1930, page 33:

We got music lessons also from an old handloom weaver, who—self-taught—could play many instruments, and who conducted the then famous Meltham Brass Band, and the famous Holmfirth Bell-ringers. My older brother and I would do the old duets, “All’s Well,” “Larboard Watch,” “Minute Gun at Sea,” etc.
