Sermon by me yesterday, and concert of songs (including Mourning Scene for voice and string quartet) with Adele Addison at 6 P.M. at William Glenesk's Spencer Memorial Church, Brooklyn Heights. Get tourist card at Consul of Mexico. (Board of Health stamp.) Appointment with Dr. S. psychoanalyst, at 3:45. (The waiting room screeched with Muzak.) Taken by Maggie Paley to Drue Heinz' impressive reception for Paris Review, then to concert featuring Maggie's cousin, Alan Leichtling at Juilliard.
