Benjamin Britten in Prestatyn - 2 May, 1934

from Journeying boy : the diaries of the young Benjamin Britten 1928-1938, page 210:

Garden abit after supper - superb weather still, & then listen to Act III of Walküre from Covent Garden.* Incomparable Leider as Brünhilde; & Bochelmann as a very good Wotan, also Lehmann as a beautiful Sieglinde. But what music to sing!
