Robert Augustine Luke Nunns in near the family home in Leeds - 19 June, 1852
from The Diary of R.A.L. Nunns, for the year 1852, page 38:
Wrote to Aunt Sarah. The Gardeners came. Began a drawing of Trinity Church in my album. In evening a brass band played on the moor. Went with [brother] Tom to hear it. Saw some ‘darmies’ dancing. Two couples (men) waltzing, surrounded by a large ring of enthusiastic spectators.
