Wrote to Aunt Sarah. The Gardeners came. Began a drawing of Trinity Church in my album. In evening a brass band played on the moor. Went with [brother] Tom to hear it. Saw some ‘darmies’ dancing. Two couples (men) waltzing, surrounded by a large ring of enthusiastic spectators.
