Villamil arrived as we were sitting down to an early dinner for the purpose of going to the Opera. The ladies and I went. “Don Juan.” Fodor comes up perfectly to one’s imagination of Zerlina; her singing and acting of “Batti, Batti!” perfect. Lord Wellesley and his wife in the box next to us.
