...Natalie Cole appears (as she did last week on Irving Berlin's 100th anniversary program), to sing "Suppertime" - Ethel Waters's old 'social-concious' ballad of injustice and sorrow - dressed in a satin mini-skirt, and making the syllables into "expressive" vowels, not sensical.
